Bye November!!!

November 30, 2012

Heh. Obviously there's not much to post in the year because I was so busy with my girl. And time sure flies!! Miss reading all the updates so I'm dropping by to say hi if you are reading this. :)

Sorry...

There It Goes Again...

February 10, 2011

Are you a deodorant user?

Well , I am, since I was a teen with those sweaty armpits that drive me (and my parents back in the school days) mad.

Because the sweat stained my white school shirts. *blush*

I've used quite a lot of brands for deodorant but there's always a case where...

I just cannot understand why it leaks!!! :( All the time!

Even I put it upright, sideways... it still does the leaking thing. Ish!

Anyone has a way to solve this please?

Even with the instruction on how to close the cap does not even help the leaking problem. :(

Argh!

I've tried to clean them several times, checked the roller and all, but the problem still happens after that. =(

Gah! Please help me ya....

Last but not least, some information that you may want to know..

Note on the instruction: "Shake well with cap on"... I don't even dare to shake it in case the whole thing leaks out even more... geez...

ELF Haul before the CNY begins!

February 2, 2011

Finally after a long wait (about 3 months I supposed), my ELF haul finally reach me! YAY!

Nothing but ELF brushes! The spreer also put the Fragile sticker, just in case. How sweet of her. :)

And ta-daaaa....

All bubble-wrapped up nicely. =) Woot-woot!

First up, ELF Stipple brush.

I read quite abit of reviews on this one. But it's a little dissapointment to me though.

USD 3 for this brush.

Quick thoughts: Still okay for me but it is quite flimsy for my liking. Plus I'm not sure what I'm going to use with this one. Maybe for blusher... By the way, the bristles are really soft too!

Next, the one that I anticipated the most!

ELF Kabuki Face Brush! Look how cute it is in the box!

USD5 for the brush.

Quick thoughts: I was really looking forward for this when I first saw them on the ELF website. And when I got it, I love the look and feel of it! Uber-soft bristles plus it does seem quite sturdy too! So far I haven't use it but will update again when I used them.

Now for the last one .... Mineral foundation brush!
It's the newest range from ELF.

$5 for this brush.

Quick thoughts: I was quite skeptical at first, but since I intended to splurge on some ELF brushes, so I just gave in for this one. It looks quite normal to me. Bristles are soft but the one thing I noticed is that the brush handle looks a bit "cheapo" to me (Haha!). I'll take a closer picture of it the next round. And this brush is very lightweight too.

I've also got another back up for my powder brush but I won't be uploading the pictures since I've reviewed them before. Not all these brushes are all mine, I actually just bought one each this time, and the rest are for my fellow colleagues. :)

Note:
If you are wondering where I got these, I actually got them from Ms. Aini (aka hubby_enny @ LYN). Please take note if you are going to participate in the spree, you'll need to have the "PATIENCE". Especially handling sprees are not easy peasy.

Tight budget this year *sniff sniff*. But anyway, last but not least, wishing everyone great health, wealth and joyous wabbit year! I didn't manage to snap some goodie snacks for now but this is what I managed to snap last night.

hahaha, it's not mine but still it's something I can snap other than the messy room that I have. :P

Two O Wan Wan... Here I come!

January 3, 2011

Happy New Year! (I know I'm always late, keke!)

Time sure flies! Looking back to 2010, I haven't been blogging that much.

Total Blogpost: 56 (2010) vs 60 (2009). WTH! lol!

But still, I absolutely love my 2010.

Had many many changes, including my job, my life, my family. And also, a huge 4 digit credit card debt that I never expect to hit on! hehe. So, let's hope a better financial planning this year! *crossing my fingers*

Out of the 12 months, December was one of my favourite month where I :-
  • Travel to Seoul with my family
  • Experienced Kimchi!
  • Brought back extra 8kg of stuff.....
........ xoxo.... :D 1 bag go, 3 bags back....

And went crazy shopping with my mom (final countdown of shopping!)

this was only partial of our haul though ... keke...

I'm definitely am happy with my 2010 and would expect my 2011 to be merrier!
And YES, more blog post too, I hope! xD

My Love for Seoul!

December 20, 2010

Yes! I went for a honeyfamilymoon 2 weeks ago and damn, it was so good! :D

And my my, I did experience my first snow experience there! xD

BTW, did I tell you the food there was insane?! I don't really fancy kimchi until it was literally served in every meal.. and it does taste much better there than the local Korean restaurants here (that I've tried) in the island. :P

Here's some food pics that I've capture during my one-week stay there..

* on the left above: - if you are wondering what the soup was, it was ginseng soup with chicken*
* on the right above: - yummy steamed dumpling, we queued for almost half an hour outside the restaurant. It was freezing cold that day. *

Now here's the meal that we loveeee the most!

* BBQ * yumz! The soup based one was also nice, especially during the cold winter!

Some food stuff that we bought...
Do you know the strawberries selling in Seoul were big and tasty too? But not cheap though..
The luncheon meat pack is also one of our fav! One small pack for almost RM9!

So where's my haul?!

...... I just couldn't leave Seoul empty handed! .... hahaha....

I went insane... and all I know is that I have to get in to every beauty/cosmetic store especially when I was at Myeongdong!

Tony Moly, Baviphat, Innisfree, Banila co. , Aritaum.. Holika holika, and even Etude house looks irrisistable....................!!!

I know Baviphat and Tony Moly is in Malaysia but there's none in Penang. So a good reason to buy! haha!
BTW, it is so nice to shop in Holika Holika too! The Sales Assistants there were very helpful. And some of them do speak Chinese and English. :D

When you have all the help from the SA, it's even easier to shop! LOL!

Spot my Emprani! heh! I couldn't resist it when I saw the packaging. -_-
Emprani doesn't have a shop like the rest of the brand does, it's available in Olive Young (if I'm not mistaken).
See the Laneige Sleeping mask above?! Not all mine! But still... have to carry them back since some friend requested them! xD I got Iope skincare instead. :D

Last but not least, here's some pictures for some giggles. kekeke.

Got the chance to try these traditional outfit for I think 2,000 won (if i'm not mistaken...).
*I'm a palace guard with a *peace* sign.* lol! (No charge for the palace guard outfit.. it's Free for those who visit Gyeongbokgung palace)

Anyway, that's all for now! Have a good start of the week people! :D

Err, Yum?

December 14, 2010

It looks like some kind of biscuit or bread right? haha.

But it's not!

Actually, I'm just posting this for fun since I haven't really prepared anything to review on. :P

Anyway, this is actually....

A sponge cover. =P

My sponge cover for my foundation got "exhausted".. so finally I gave in and changed them! (I'm lazy I know, can't help it leh..)

*hee hee*

And so, here's the new cover for my baby foundation! xD like finally. heh!

Do anyone changes their sponge regularly? I used to use my powder brush but I'm too lazy to buff them properly, so sponge is a shortcut for me! =P

ps: will post on my crazy haul soon!

Sorry!

July 27, 2010

I apologized for not posting up for my giveaway #2.

I have to be away for a while due to some family emergency.

But fret not, I'll be back on track soon!

Thanks for staying in yea :)

Do you....

July 11, 2010

This is what I did some sometime back in February. Because I cannot update this blog for the time being, so I'm going to do the stash giveaway to thank everyone who have been very supportive all these while. TQVM!!

This is also in conjunction of myself celebrating something (private :P) that has played a part in my life recently (no extra gifts for guessing it correctly:P).

Well, frankly speaking, most of stuff are not brand new stuffs, so please don't complain yeah. :)

The giveaway will be happening every week (starting tomorrow) until August 2010. So stay tune yeah. ;)

I'll "see" you again soon! =)

Cheers,

Au Revoir!

June 28, 2010

To Europe I mean! *sigh*

So yeah, I got a few mails asking if I'm still alive.. LOL!

Long story short, I'm kinda stressed up recently with the life adjustments and some important responsibilities that I have to handle (hence the MIA). Well, that's life I supposed, which is why our journey in life is never a straight line ahead. =P

Anyway, as you might not have heard, I have gone through some walking marathon - which is walking around in a few cities of Europe. :P I got free sunburn upon completion of this marathon. Couldn't be grateful enough, so thank you mr. sun! =P

So where's the haul pics... you may have wonder.... Well, no Louis Vuitton though. I did help a friend buying her Delightful but I didn't get one in the end as my dough doesn't allow me to get one, YET. :P Or maybe you can say I'm not willing to break my arm and leg for those brandies yet...

But still, I ain't going to go home empty handed.. ha ha xD .. so I did opt for a cheaper alternative, my Longchamp Planetes. <3

in black. plain and boring I know. but still, i likey x)

Other than that, I got myself 2 jackets and 2 heels. hahaha.

The jacket cost me 9 euros. You do the math!

The heels doesn't come cheap. But they are quite comfy. 32 euros and 25 euros.

I didn't buy any cosmetics as I don't think these stuff are cheap in the Europe. But I did get Carmex as my lips were bleeding due to the dry weather. =(

Apart from all these, my family and I brought back Ritter Sport Chocolates! I know we have them here, but the flavours are kinda different.

Last but not least, some random pictures.. I couldn't put up all as the internet connection is kinda slow. But enjoy! =)

The Colosseum

Yummy Gelato.

Leaning Tower of Pisa (on the right)

Lying on the grass in one of the biggest park in Lyon =)

Have a good start of the week people! =)

Hello?

March 28, 2010

Sorry for the long MIA. =D And no, I'm did not go to Paris. Yet.

I wasn't able to get into my blog account as the location that I went seems to "block" the website. =(

But anyway, I'm back after a well-deserved break plus lots of craziness during the weekend!

I'll let the picture below to give you an idea about it! =D

I'm not sure if you can spot where I am for the past week but I did have a stroll around the world. haha!

Actually, the place is called Windows of the World (second half of the picture) which is one of the main attractions in Shenzhen, China. And my my, I did tons of exercise there (walk like mad! LOL!).

I came back to Malaysia on Friday and imagine I have to rush back for my convocation on Saturday. Madness. -_-"

But yeah, glad all went smoothly. *phew!*

I will allocate some time to get back on track with my blog after I clear my backlogs. T_T

So, I'll "see" you lovely people soon! =)

I'm Not a Doctor but I Dissect Them

February 27, 2010

Hee hee. An unofficial doctor, maybe? =)

You may have heard that people dissect their UDPP for more primer, but since I don't have UDPP, I dissect my tube cleanser. =)

*please excuse my fugly chipped nails. =)*

I have done this not only to my cleanser but also to my hair conditioners as well.

Don't waste them, even they cost just a few cents. =)

As for the cleanser, it's another product from Niu Er. I bought this many months (uhm..years maybe?) back and I think they have discontinued them since I don't see this cleanser anymore.

Product: Niu Er Advanced Hydrating Facial Cleansing Cream.

I can only do a quick review since I don't have much details of them anymore now. =)

Description in Chinese.

In tube.

Texture wise.

My thoughts:
This is a cream cleanser. Hence, don't expect to get foams/bubbles from this one.

I dislike the scent for this one as it has a strong creamy vit.E smell, just like those conventional moisturizer scent. However, this mild cleanser cleanse well and leave skin moisturized without feeling tight. I think this cleanser suits sensitive skin types as well. Anyway, if you still see this on their Payeasy website, do let me know (I might have overlooked them).

Til then, have a good weekend ahead people. =)
