My Scheming Bamboo Charcoal Mask 我的心机竹炭面膜

Who would actually think Bamboo & Charcoal can be mixed together? Me never thought of it before for sure. Weird combination btw! One is long and green while the other is flat and black. LOL!

This Bamboo Charcoal mask is also part of My Scheming's range.

My Thoughts:

I have no say on this one. My skin is somewhat normal and somewhat dehydrated. So it feels like my skin soaks up the serum pretty fast than usual for this one. I can feel the surface of the mask is slightly dried up after 15 mins. Or maybe I can blame the charcoal ingredients that made it this way. Also, I must wash my face with water after masking. This is because I did break out from using it!! This is because I pat the serum dry after masking (like usual) but little did I know the serum comes with free pimples! OMG >.<>

I wouldn't repurchase this either. Even though it does feel "clean" but then I think I would look for moisturizing ones instead of deep cleansing ones. =\

So have you tried this and have the same problem like mine?

Instructions and details.

3 easy-peasy steps:-

1. Take of the "white plastic".
2. Place it gently on your face.
3. Take the sheet mask off after 15-25 minutes and you're done. Pat the serum dry and apply moisturizer/creme if desired. ;)

Let's see what's left inside..

Not much left but pretty sufficient if you want to massage the serum onto your legs and hands. =)

My Thoughts:
Not bad but I like the previous one more. It does leave skin moisturized but don't expect it to be "super" moisturizing. I couldn't really tell what's so great about this as I believed most sheet mask are the same. I can only give a plus point that it doesn't have a strong fragrance in it and it is an average/okay sheet mask for what we are paying for.

I believed My Scheming mask or 我的心机 is now no stranger to anyone.

I still remember their old packaging when I used them for the first time...

Well, they sure came a long way though.. :D

Today I want to review on this one..

But because these were so famous.. they even got fake ones as well! -_-
One of the tips to spot fake ones from authentic ones I remembered from Connie@skindeco.net is the "dates" printed at the packaging.. it have to be clean and clear...


Geez. I could not imagine how my face will react if I was conned with fake ones.. rashes? itchy? pimples? argh. @_@

Anyway, here's my review on them.

Note: Please excuse the crazy "camwhoring" lol. I don't comfortable in giving full up close of the face :P I really do admire Jenn's@lipglosseater.com courage and determination in this. :D


My Thoughts:
Okay product. For me, I don't put too much hope on sheet/tube mask, reason is because I think they are just like "temporary solution" to the skin if you use it only once. If used periodically every one or two days, of course we will notice the difference.

For this one, the one thing I like it is because it does not have a strong fragrance in it. I know some mask does have a strong smell to it.. imagine 20mins of not able to breath properly (lol). The essense is not too watery nor too sticky, so I like it pretty much.

As for the effect as it claims, yes I do agree with all it them, but the problem is.. it is only a temporary effect. So yeah, that's about it I guess. For RM2.50, I don't have much complain since it is affordable. Also, I believed all sheet mask main objective is to balance up our skin hydration level, so I guess I can say they are all the same? :)
